Oceans of Inspiration

Each Spring, The Grauer School hosts a gala event for parents, alumni, teachers and staff, and community leaders to come together in support of the school and to build relationships and celebrate the “Grauer Family.” This year’s event is going to be absolutely unique, beautifully symbolic, and so much fun!

 At 6:00 p.m.,  we’ll convene at the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography for an extraordinary Seaside Soiree. In a departure from prior events, this year’s dress code is “Beach Chic,” and we look forward to relaxing together the way only Southern Californians know how.

From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., we’ll enjoy cocktails and a silent auction among the tide pools, while relishing in one of the So Cal coast’s most breathtaking sunsets. This year’s bidding will be automated, and guests will be invited to explore and relax in our “bidding lounge” while vying for their favorite auction items with ease, from cell phones.

Dinner will be hosted inside the aquarium, where we’ll be treated to boardwalk themed entertainment from Grauer’s gifted and inspiring students and teachers – in a program that’s different than anything we’ve done before, and sure to be an absolute treat.

This year’s event will in celebration and honor of inspiration. We’ll be raising money for the Justice Center: the perfect space to sanctify the inspirations and aspirations of beautiful young souls, for generations to come. It’s our chance to create an ideal stage and safe haven for teens to grow, express themselves, and shine in a way that is quintessentially “Grauer.”

Instructions

To purchase your gala tickets, click on a ticket option and click "add ticket." For multiple tickets, you will need to repeat this step. For each ticket that you purchase, please indicate the name as you would like it to appear on your place card as well as select a meal option (if you purchase more than two tickets purchased please email names and food preferences to: renee@grauerschool.com). We have also provided a text box where you may list up to seven people who you would like to sit next to as well. We will do our best to accomodate your seating preferences. VIP tickets include premium dinner wine, preferred seating, and a special gift.
